A New Jersey lawmaker said he “Can’t believe” how the government worded its investigation into recent drone sightings across the American Northeast.
State Assemblyman Paul Kanitra joined “Fox News @ Night” on Thursday to discuss bipartisan dissatisfaction with how the government is handling drone sightings.
“We are a polarized society. But I can tell you when we were in ‘The Rock’ which is our security building in New Jersey. And we have over a hundred state legislatures from every political branch, the upper house, the lower house, everyone is. I’m also angry about this situation,” Kanitra said.
Jersey’s new governor has received backlash over a lack of clarity over drone sightings.
The first drone sighting occurred in New Jersey on Nov. 1. On Sept. 18, the Federal Aviation Administration said earlier this month. This caused the agency to issue two temporary flight restrictions.
Kanitra said he learned during an intelligence briefing to state lawmakers on Wednesday that It has been confirmed that a drone has been seen. “Every night since.”
in a post on Facebook Kanitra said he implored the Department of Homeland Security during that briefing to “Take swift and decisive action” against the drone. It described the situation as “infuriating”.

Kanitra took remote photos of a drone in the skies of New Jersey on Thursday night.
He said “these are not hobby drones” and that the military should have the necessary technology to get quality photos.
