LeBron James, Los Angeles star The Lakers sent a message to the NFL after their close win over the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night.
James scored 31 points and dished out 10 assists for Austin. Reeves scored to lead the Lakers to a 115-113 victory, but as the NFL edged closer to what was arguably the NBA’s most exciting day of the regular season, James sounded a warning to the league.

“I love the NFL, I love the NFL, but Christmas is our day,” he declared.
Last year, the NFL scheduled three games on Christmas Day to fall on Mondays. This year, two games are scheduled on Christmas Day. In 2022, the regular season games will fall on Christmas Day.

“We saw an opportunity around Thanksgiving and some of the audience we continue to build there,” said Hans Schroeder, the NFL’s executive vice president of media distribution.
