As she rushed to evacuate her home due to wildfires in Malibu earlier this week, Jane Seymour tried to get essential supplies.
In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital, the award-winning British actress British-American Business Council LA Icon Award in Los Angeles on Friday. Opened up about the time she fled the flames that were raging towards her home and the souvenirs she took with her.
“This week has been incredible,” Seymour told Fox News Digital at the event, which supported BABC’s Holiday Drive for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

“But I actually ran out of the house with the clothes I was wearing. which is jeans,” she said. And I took a few books that my mother had saved from the war in the concentration camps. So, everything I had in the world That is what I decided to carry with me.”

“As the Franklin Fire continues to burn in Malibu and closer to our home, But we are still evacuating and we are safe,” she wrote in the caption. “We are deeply grateful to the incredible firefighters and incredible group of volunteer firefighters in Malibu who are risking everything to protect our homes and communities.”

She asked her followers to light a fire as a reminder. “We celebrate the strength, courage, resilience and compassion that bind us together in the hardest of times,” and encourage everyone “Continue to support and encourage each other as we always do.”
“To everyone. Fight the flames and keep us safe. Thank you. Your bravery is extraordinary,” she concluded.

Seymour, who attended the 4th annual Christmas Luncheon at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica on Friday. She has been praised for her philanthropy and professional achievements.
