Hundreds of other bugs, improvements, and balance changes included in GSC Game World’s first hard patch.
Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl has its first major update, and it’s a slog. GSC Game World has spent several days since launch ironing out many bugs, such as spots where NPCs get stuck and may die in gas emissions. Greenhouse or not, it doesn’t go where it’s supposed to in order to progress your mission. To that end, Patch 1.0.1 fixes these issues and more. And now it’s ready to use.

GSC Game World releases Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl Patch 1.0.1 and its Annotation This week, the group said it has fixed about 650 game fixes, although some additional details aren’t fully listed. However, it fixes some annoying bugs in the game (and also Some of them are funny.For better or worse), players should therefore be able to theoretically enjoy a less enjoyable experience in the Zone. Here’s a summary of what’s changed:
AI Editing:
- Fixed a group of NPCs getting stuck and dying near the Shelter during the launch.
- Fixed an issue where the Burer could drop any mission items from the player’s hand.
- Added missing sound effects for abilities. Burer’s ‘Telekinesis’
- Fixed an issue where NPCs would sometimes get stuck and be unable to access mission locations. This may prevent you from interacting with NPCs or progressing to the next level of the mission. Due to the idle behavior of mission NPCs
- Fixed an issue where performance degradation/out of memory could crash in hubs and locations full of NPCs during long periods of play.
- Fixed an issue when NPCs moved to position A or started flying after death.
- Fixed an issue where NPCs could not track whether targets in cover were blocked from shooting or not. This allows them to shoot into cover.
and more than 20 other AI problems
Optimization fixes:
- Fix the problem that Invisible NPCs/mutants appear in the FOV while the player is setting boundaries.
- Fixed fire visual effects not displaying at certain camera angles.
We also fixed approximately 100 different crashes, including potential memory leaks and issues. EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION
Sound and Audio Editing:
- Fixed an issue where the battle music was still playing while the battle was finished.

Balancing:
- Weapon and armor repair costs decreased.
- Artifact costs increased significantly. (Increase in sales income)
- Silver rewards for most missions increased from 2 to 3 times.
- New Difficulty Armor and Weapon Buffs
- Mutation damage is moderately reduced on New difficulty. (More mutation health balance changes in combat balance)
- Damage to the player’s weapons is reduced by 23 percent on New difficulty.
- Armor durability increased by 12.5 percent.
- Added silencer attachment for PTM to dedicated repository in Lesser Zone.
- Fixed selling price for Exoskeletons is now more expensive to sell.
- Fixed the selling price of upgraded weapons.
- Rebalanced Hercules consumable: Player speed debuff removed. Add effect parameters (Players can now gain more weight after consuming)
Some additional minor bug fixes.
Battle balance:
- Reduce the weight of some missions (including the weight of the scanner)
- Slightly adjusted Bloodsucker damage.
- Reduced Bloodsucker’s attack protection level (more gun damage)
- Reduces Boodsucker’s HP recovery outside of combat.
- The controller’s HP is moderately reduced.
- Burer HP moderately decreased.
- The boar’s HP is moderately reduced.
- Flesh HP moderately decreased.
- Damage to boars from headshots changed to 100% of body damage.
- Damage to boars from shots to limbs has been increased.
- Flesh damage from shots to limbs increased.
- Significantly increases the melee range of weapons.
- Slightly increased melee range of knives.
Gamepad input:
- Increase gamepad dead spots
character:
- Fixed eyes and teeth on NPC models.
- Minor fixes to NPC models and animations.
Cutscene:
- Added missing footage to the TV show in the final cutscene.
- Fixed deer animation issue in the opening cutscene.

Game settings and menu:
- Adjusted unreadable text at the bottom of the shader compilation screen.
- Fixed an issue where the ‘Nvidia Reflex Low Latency’ option was not saved on the next boot of the game.
And 10 other small points
Interactive objects:
- Fixed physics issues with destructible and movable objects. Including objects floating in the air
- Fixed interacting with the glass door in SIRAA’s inner courtyard causing hint blockers.
- Fixed missing inner door in the X-11 lab elevator.
and additional minor flaws
Main missions and side missions:
- Fixed many mission blockers and bugs encountered under specific conditions. Important fixes include:
- Fixed missing interactions with dead blind dogs in missions. Nightingale’s Hunt
- Fixed incomplete objectives in the Seek and You Shall Find missions.
- Fixed several issues in the There and Back Again missions, including an issue where artifacts could not be found.
- Fixed dialog looping with Zotov during the A Needle mission in the haystack.
- Fixed a progress blocker in the Answers Come at a Price mission, as well as issues with thieves after the release of greenhouse gases and missing Heavy Key items.
- Fixed mission markers for NPC locations in the Hot on the Trail mission.
- Fixed an issue related to doors in the In Search of a Guide mission and the Side Hustle mission.
- Fixed an issue where cutscenes would not start during the Just Like the Good Old Days mission.
- Fixed an issue where Lodochka disappeared in the Quite camp during Just Like the Good Old Days.
- Mission.
- Fixed an issue during Just Like the Good Old Days when Lodochka acted aggressively after giving him the Emitter.
- It is now possible to turn off power in flooded areas during the To the Last Drop of Blood mission.
- Fixed several issues in the On the Edge mission, including NPCs not being used. stuck door and the progression of the Monolith attack.

- Fixed cutscenes that were stuck and blocking progress in the Dangerous Visitors, Gray’s Last Hunt, and The Eternal Shining missions.
- Fixed NPC and enemy spawning behavior in The Boundary and Escape from the Cage missions.
- Customize missions like Down Below, Budmo! and A Big Score to fix NPCs stuck with mismatched marks. and missing dialog options
and approximately 120 other problems across the main line, side missions, and encounters.
Open World Experience:
- Fixed elongated or missing limbs on human corpses
- Fixed missing fast travel routes. Including going to a concrete factory for poisonous mushrooms.
- Fix speaker problems fast travel and NPC interactions in locations such as the scientist’s bunker. and chemical factories
- Adjusted the behavior of hostile NPCs during Arena missions. Including the tactics of thieves Added ammo for Tyrant battles.
- Fixed mission progression in the Black Sheep mission and the Key to Freedom mission.
And about 50 other problems have been fixed.
Player, Equipment, and Weapon Instructions:
- Fixed a bug that made it possible to sell items to traders for more money than the actual price.
- Fixed an issue with input blocking with PDA, inventory, and attachments when interacting with artifacts.
- Fixed flashlight behavior after saving/loading
- Fixed an issue with selecting the grenade type. Overlay of compass marks and missing mission markers
- Fixed inconsistencies with weapon and armor upgrade effects. Including price and upgrade reversals.
- Improved HUD behavior and extended hint duration. “Point of No Return” during the mission below
- Fixed a bug where players could sell mission items using the gamepad
and about 50 other minor “abnormalities”
Voice and facial animation:
- Restored missing facial animations for Sava in the Hot on the Trail mission and Mugwort in the The Eternal Shining mission.
- Fixed missing voice during the Let No One Leave Unsatisfied mission.
- Fixed radio call effects so that NPC voices properly reflect the distance between communications.
And a few more things have been fixed.
word
- Fixed flickering textures in various locations including the Sphere, Military Base, and Chemical Plant.
- Movement problem fixed. This includes getting stuck in certain locations during missions such as Once Upon a Breach and the difficult Awakening.
- Fixed artifact spawn points in some areas
- Fixed NPC behavior during encounters.
- Adjust the volume during storms to improve sound balance.
