Patch notes Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Update 1 improves ray tracing and fixes crash issues.


Several important bugs have been fixed. And full ray tracing with path tracking has been added to the game.

Indiana Jones is opening early access for its public launch on Xbox and PC platforms today, and with it comes its first major update. This brings some fixes and improvements to the game. This update brings significant upgrades to Ray Tracing, including several fixes for game crashes and gameplay-affecting bugs.

Bethesda and MachineGames released Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Update 1 alongside an accompanying attachment. Save the edits. This week due to the game leaving early access to the public. Everyone who bought the deluxe edition has been playing for a few days now. But new players will enjoy a cleaner experience from the start. Because this update fixes crashes and bugs. That hinders gameplay and progress. It also adds ray tracing upgrades that will make The Great Circle look better than ever. Read on for all the details below:


New features

  • Added Full Ray Tracing (Path Tracing) feature on supported NVIDIA video cards. Minimum 12GB of VRAM is required to use this feature. Please note that we are working to support AMD FSR in future game updates.

  • Fixed a rare crash that could occur while saving a game.
  • Fixed an issue where you could temporarily lose access to pre-order/deluxe costumes.
  • Fixed this to make sure your photos appear faster when checking out your journal.

playing games

  • Fixed broken animations that could occur if you immediately equip a respirator when jumping into water.
  • Fixed a situation where you might temporarily be unable to interact with objects if you tried to push an enemy with your pistol while stamina was depleted.
  • Fixed an issue that could prevent you from blocking punches while looking at nearby picking objects
  • Fixed an issue where you might not be able to change your disguise after leaving Sukhothai Village using the express travel sign.
  • Fixed several issues where the whip could unexpectedly come off while swinging.
  • Fixed an issue where Indy’s legs could unexpectedly lock in place when swinging across a gap on a bridge in Nepal.
  • Fixed to prevent enemies from being aware of Indy when loading a checkpoint very close to soldiers guarding the entrance to a restricted location.
  • Fixed an issue that could result in Gina not appearing near docked ships as expected.
  • Fixed unexpected camera shake when a scorpion died near the end of a Gizeh level.
  • Fixed an issue where the first shot from a gun was temporarily silent.
  • Fixed an issue where enemies could be delayed in responding after you stole valuables from them.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause you to appear in a broken animation state if restarting a checkpoint after using a zipline while the game was saving.
  • Fixed an issue that could result in being unable to use your whip If you crack the whip while saving the game Then reload that recording.
  • Fixed an issue where you might be stuck in the “Lucky Hat” recovery state.

UI

  • add selection “Factory reset” in the options menu

  • Fixed an issue with occasional stuttering that could be seen in cutscenes.
  • Fixed this so that Indy’s whip behaves more naturally when attached to his belt.

Missions and Missions – Please note that this section contains minor spoilers.

  • Make sure photo opportunities still exist when reviewing levels or after completing certain sections of the game.

  • Fixed a rare issue where Gina could not use the lever or would get stuck when walking to the elevator in Wat Sri Sawai, Sukhothai.
  • Fixed an issue where Gina might not help open the game room door at Sukhothai Ziggurat.
  • Fixed an issue where Gina was unable to enter the Co-op Vault or climb when she was in combat recently.
  • Fixed an issue where pieces of the Vatican Fountain puzzle could move slowly. This may not succeed if left unattended for a long time.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause mission objectives to fail “Completed forging the Golden Key” was not cleared in your record in the Vatican.
  • Fixed an issue where dying shortly after opening the safe in Sukhothai Headquarters could result in the player being unable to pick up all the gold.
  • Fixed an issue where a door could be locked inside a cave if restarting a checkpoint while sneaking into the Nazi Compound in Gizeh.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented players from picking up important books in Voss’ office within the Nazi compound in Gizeh.
  • Fixed an issue that could result in Antonio or Ventura being stuck in the “Fear” state while you were in Antonio’s office in the Vatican.

PC-specific fixes

  • Improved performance in larger games if using 8GB VRAM video card.
  • Fixed an issue where Alt-Tabbing could prevent you from opening your inventory.
  • Edit to make sure the option “Revert” works properly when you change video mode.
  • Fixed flickering of torches or lighters when playing games at high refresh rates.
  • Fixed Sand Pouring and Torch’s flame effects not displaying properly in Peru levels on AMD video cards.
  • Fixed an issue where enabling HDR and DLSS at the same time could result in a moiré effect on plain white walls.
  • Fixed an issue where black artefacts could appear in Indy’s eyes during cutscenes within a cave in Peru.
  • Addresses an issue where black squares may intermittently appear on the screen if upscaled rendering is used at certain resolutions on AMD video cards.
  • Fix to ensure that your photos can be exported correctly from Steam Cloud Save if you decide to switch to Xbox Cloud Save.
  • Please note that AMD FSR support will be added in future game updates.

Known issues

  • We know that some players may experience performance degradation if they launch the game with DLSS enabled, and we’re looking into it. Players experiencing this issue can try:

    • Go to the options menu after loading the game.
    • Select graphics options
    • Change from DLSS to TAA
    • Switch back to DLSS and exit the menu. Performance should return to normal after a while.
