King Charles added: “Our thoughts and prayers are with President Carter’s family. and Americans at this time.”
Carter died at his home in Georgia surrounded by his family.
“My father is a hero. President Carter is survived by his children Jack, Chip, Jeff and Amy, 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of late, Rosalynn Smith Carter. 77 years old, who died on November 1, November 19, 2023 and 1 grandchild.
Public celebrations will be held in both Atlanta and Washington, D.C., followed by a private funeral in Plains, Georgia. Final arrangements are still pending for President Carter’s funeral. This includes all public works and convoy routes.
