Scottie Scheffler undergoes surgery after hand injury from broken glass and will miss the first signature event of 2025.


After one of golf’s most historic seasons in 2024, 2025 won’t be the perfect start for Scottie Scheffler.

The reigning PGA Player of the Year and No. 1 golfer in the world will miss next week’s Sentry tournament after he had hand surgery.

In a statement released on Friday. Scheffler’s manager, Blake Smith, said Scheffler He was “injured by a shard of broken glass” in his right hand on Christmas Day while preparing dinner.
