Rep. Seth Moulton, D-Mass., isn’t letting backlash in his own party stop him from continuing his verbal campaign against transgender athletes in women’s and girls’ sports.
Moulton spoke about his party’s position on the issue again on Sunday in an interview titled “take away” on CBS News
Moulton confirmed that he spoke with individuals in the LGBT community who agreed that restrictions would be in place to prevent biological men from competing and sharing locker rooms with women.
“You wouldn’t believe there are LGBTQ people, activists, And how many individuals fully support what I’m saying, saying, ‘Yes, we need to have these conversations. And I agree with transgender issues,’” Moulton said. “There are a lot of people out there. Including members of the LGBTQ community who feel that certain sports It doesn’t have to be every sport.
