Wreckfest has long been a Shackbattle staple in our community, and this year it took home that award once again. Bugbear Entertainment’s destruction racing game Giving us endless laughs and unforgettable endings. This year is another year for the books.
Wreckfest’s real strength as a Shackbattle game is its size. Up to 24 players can face each other in a single match. Can accommodate large groups of players. This is especially important when the Wednesday hut battle has a large number of participants. Wreckfest also has private servers. This makes it easy to gather in lobbies and play the way we want.
Wreckfest has been a staple in this category since its inception. But this year is especially important. This is the last Shacknews awards ceremony before the release of Wreckfest 2 in 2025. We don’t know how it will compare to the original game. But hopefully we can take Shackbattles to a new level in the new year.
