F-Zero 99 was a surprise release in 2023 that shook the world. Not only did F-Zero launch in immaculate condition, Nintendo also didn’t forget about it, opting instead to release a slew of updates. Each of these new versions has added something new. Give the experience 10 out of 10 already.

F-Zero gets a Classic mode, which features 20-player matches with the same rules as the SNES version of F-Zero. This mode includes new leagues and events. There’s plenty for players to take part in, including the Classic Mini Prix, Festival Queen League, weekend events and more.
Nintendo also added new songs, secret songs, mirror songs, rearranging tricks in some songs. and songs that players never thought would see the light of day again. One of the latest collections is the iconic Ace League Satellaview Tracks, a collection that includes Mute City 4, Sand Storm 1, Sand Storm 2, Big Blue 2 and Silence 2.
In terms of beauty Players have the ability to express themselves in new and exciting ways. F-Zero 99 receives backgrounds, emblems, and borders that are used to customize players’ Pilot cards. It’s not just visuals, F-Zero 99 gets core systems that enhance the gameplay experience. Users can create private lobbies where they can chat with friends and still earn EXP at a reduced rate. Steer Assist has also been added for those who need help avoiding obstacles and rough spots. (or from falling from a jump) and highlighting challenges
It’s hard to overstate how much Nintendo loved F-Zero 99 during its first year on the Nintendo Switch, although there are other nominees. In this competition, however, F-Zero 99 takes home first place as Shacknews’ Most Improved Game of 2024.
