President Donald Trump’s candidacy for president is apparently Trump is all about revenge.
The 78-year-old won the election earlier this month. This is the second time he has had the opportunity to govern the country in three election cycles.
However, Stephen A. Smith says this is all because he didn’t own an NFL team about a decade ago.

Smith said Trump actually told him. that he will run for president If the Buffalo Bills’ bid at the time didn’t come to fruition.
“He called me in 2014, this is true… He said, ‘Stephen A., I’m trying to buy the Buffalo Bills.’ The price tag was $1.4 billion. I said he wouldn’t take the team. Smith told Bill Maher. on the latter’s podcast earlier this week.
“He said, ‘Stephen A., if these moms get in my way’ – referring to NFL owners – ‘These moms get in my way. I’m taking them all back. I’m running for president. That’s what he said!”

The Pegula family decided to purchase the team at an expensive price, Smith said.
Trump mentioned his Bills bid on an episode of “Bussin’ With The Boys” earlier this year.
“I don’t think it’s a serious run. But I gave them a guarantee of $1 billion. So it’s always serious, right?” he said at the time.

Trump was majority owner of the original USFL’s New Jersey Generals in the 1980s, which came after he tried to buy the Baltimore Colts. He has also expressed interest in purchasing the Dallas Cowboys and New England Patriots.
