Allstate Sugar Bowl CEO Jeff Hundley issued a statement Wednesday expressing his condolences to the victims. He added that organizers continue to work with officials ahead of the competition.

“Sugar bowl The committee is saddened by the unfortunate events this morning. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families. We are in ongoing discussions with local, state and federal agencies. We will provide additional details when information is available.”
