On Thursday, Billboard apologized for compiling a Taylor Swift video that accidentally showed a clip from a Kanye West video that featured a wax figure resembling the pop star naked in bed with him.
“We are deeply sorry to Taylor Swift and all of our readers and viewers that in a video celebrating Swift’s achievements, we included a clip that inaccurately portrayed her,” the magazine wrote on social media. Thanksgiving morning media “We have removed the clip from our video. And we sincerely regret the damage we caused by this mistake.”

“I made that famous,” he raps in the song. “I feel like me and Taylor might still be having sex.”

Billboard included a video montage that was supposed to show highlights of Swift’s career on its Instagram page. After naming her the second-biggest pop star of the 21st century, No. 1 will be revealed next week.

Several commenters wrote, “Public apology to Taylor Swift,” before the magazine added a mea culpa in the note in the same Instagram post.
A representative for Swift did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
