Ark Manning, quarterback for the Texas Longhorns, on Monday. Denied rumors that he plans to enter the transfer portal at the end of the season. As the team prepares for its next College Football Playoff matchup with Arizona State.
Rumors swirled around Manning throughout the season as he was the backup to Quinn Evers when Evers went down with an injury. Manning stepped up and the offense didn’t miss a beat. He passed for 939 yards and nine touchdowns.

“I mean, I have no plans to go into the portal or anything,” the redshirt freshman said. through competitors– “I really don’t know about it, about all the windows and everything.”
He admitted being a backup quarterback was an adjustment after being a star high school quarterback. whose family is one of the most famous footballers of all time
“It’s definitely an adjustment,” Manning said. “Nobody doesn’t want to play. But as I said Do whatever I can to help the team win. Whether to play or not to play That is what I will do.”

He credits Ewers with helping him learn the ropes of being a college football player.
Ewers echoed the sentiment.
“We have a good relationship. So it was definitely easy for that to happen,” Evers said.
Manning is definitely in line to be the starting quarterback in 2025, unless Evers decides to stay in school for another year before turning pro.
