The Green Bay Packers use various elements. It was to their advantage on Thursday against a team not accustomed to playing in the bitter cold.
The home team picked up a 30-17 win over the Miami Dolphins to complete a Thanksgiving tripleheader.
Simply put, the Packers weren’t interested in Frozen Tundra from the jump. They went three and out on the first possession. But the punt was silenced and recovered by Green Bay inside the 10-yard line.

Three plays later, Jordan Love hit Jayden Reed for a touchdown. After the Miami punt, the Packers went 12 field goals and Josh Jacobs finished the job.
The Dolphins scored on their next drive. The two teams then traded punts before Love and Reed connected for a second touchdown. Miami followed with a turnover on downs and the Packers added a field goal to end the first half 24-3.
Miami punted to start the second half and Green Bay responded with a field goal. De’Von Achane scored on the Dolphins’ next drive and a successful two-point conversion made it a two-possession game.

Green Bay is now 9-3 but remains in third place in the stacked NFC North. They will visit the 11-1 Detroit Lions next Thursday.
The Dolphins, currently 5-7, will host the New York Jets on December 1, 8.
