The 2024 season is a nightmare for Woods. He played in five tournaments, including all four majors, but was eliminated in only two. He missed the cut at the PGA Championship, US Open and Open Championship, while finishing last at the Masters (excluding those who missed the cut or withdrew).

Since the 2022 Masters, Woods has competed in just 10 events. The only non-major he has played in is the Genesis Invitational, which he hosted at Riviera. He withdrew from this year’s competition.

It’s been a tough stretch for Woods, who in 14 majors since winning the Green Jacket in 2019 has failed to finish inside the top 20, his longest streak since. Since failing to finish in the top 20 in the first six majors of his career in 1995 and 1996, in his final 26 majors he has four top 20 finishes.

After missing the cut at Royal Troon, it was the second time Woods had missed three straight major cuts in his final 36 majors. He missed qualifying 13 times, placing in the top 10 just six times, placing outside the top 20 another 13 times and withdrawing twice.
