While cities such as New York City, Denver, and chicago try to deal with the influx of immigrants in ‘Sanctuary city,’ one resident calls out for incoming Trump administration “Cleaning” the Windy City
“I don’t care what it is, Brandon. Johnson tells you Please come clean up Chicago. Illinois,” resident Vashon Tuncle told Homan on “The Ingraham Angle” on Wednesday.
“We need you, Tom Homan, this place sucks right now. And as you said Our city sucks because our governor sucks and our mayor sucks. You are absolutely right.”
Illinois governor says ‘violent’ illegal immigrants should be deported Open meeting with Trump officials
Homan told Tuncle he appreciates the support and promises to return to Chicago.
“I promised two weeks ago that I would come back, and I would come back,” Homan said. “When this operation begins, I’ll be in Chicago. And the men and women of ICE must be out on the streets working.”
Homan, along with President Donald Trump’s incoming administration, has made dealing with the border crisis a top priority for the Republican’s second term. The Trump team has been vocal about using mass deportations to deal with the flow of illegal immigrants across the country.
While supporting Trump’s immigration agenda, Homan said he would begin deportations in Chicago during an event in early December. The move would affect tens of thousands of illegal immigrants in Chicago and Illinois.
“If your mayor of Chicago doesn’t want to help, He got away with it,” Homan said at the time. “But if he hinders us If he intentionally hides and conceals illegal aliens I will prosecute him.”

Homan also said No one is off limits when it comes to deportation. This is despite public safety threats being a priority.
Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson has pledged to oppose President Trump’s deportation of illegal immigrants. This is despite the city spending $574.5 million on immigrant assistance, according to Fox News, and trying to win. $1 billion budget shortfall By the end of the year
“(Immigrants) have all of our resources — all of the Americans in Chicago,” Tunkel said. “Brandon Johnson has given these illegal immigrants more than half a billion dollars. Meanwhile, Americans are struggling and starving on the streets.”
“But not only that. Now he wants to protect these illegals that are in Chicago. Illinois illegally And I don’t believe that’s the right thing to do as mayor when you have a 14% approval rating.”
