President-elect Donald Trump A long list of nominees was announced Sunday night. It named several new people to serve in his incoming administration.
In several Truth Social posts on Sunday Trump has introduced several experts to the White House on a variety of issues. From national defense, technology to the budget. Republican leaders began by naming Stephen Alexander Vaden as their nominee for deputy secretary of the Department of Agriculture.
“In my first term, Stephen was general counsel of the Department of Agriculture and a member of the Commodity Credit Corporation board, where he won two cases before the United States Supreme Court. The agencies that comprised the Department have been moved and reorganized to better serve rural America. and engage in important regulatory reform,” Trump wrote in the post.
“Stephen joined the USDA on the first day of my first term. and resigned in December 2020 after I nominated him. And the United States Senate has confirmed him to continue serving the American people as a Section 3 Judge of the Court of International Trade.” He added. “Judge Stephen Vaden lives in Union City, Tennessee, where he helps manage his family farm. Congratulations! With Stephen!”
Trump nominates pair to help DOJ leaders announce picks for federal railroad administration
Trump followed up his first post by naming it. “America’s First Patriot” to work with Secretary of Defense nominee Pete Hegseth And former “Fox & Friends Weekend” co-host Trump nominated Stephen. Feinberg is the next deputy secretary of defense. and said Feinberg would “Help Make the Pentagon Great Again”
“Stephen is a very successful businessman. Graduated from Princeton. and founded his company, Cerberus, in 1992,” Trump wrote. “In addition to his leadership at Cerberus, from 2018 to January 2021, Stephen served as Chairman of my Intelligence Advisory Board. “
The president-elect named Elbridge “Bridge” Colby as his pick for secretary of defense for policy.
“A highly respected advocate for America-first foreign policy and defense. Bridge will work closely with Pete Hegseth, my outstanding Secretary of Defense nominee. to restore our military power and achieve peace through my strength,” Trump said, noting that Colby is a graduate of Harvard University and Yale Law School.
“Bridge served with distinction in the Department of Defense during my first term. who led my key defense strategy efforts in 2018 2018…and will be a great addition to my team. Who will make America great again!”
Trump then named Michael. Duffey and Emile Michael to serve as Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainability and under the Minister of Defense for Research and Engineering, respectively.
“Mike will drive change at the Pentagon. and as an advocate for an America First approach to our national defense. Will work to revitalize our defense industrial base. and rebuilding our military,” Trump said of Duffey.
Trump added that Emile Michael would “ensure that our military is armed with the most technologically sophisticated weapons in the world. At the same time, it saves a lot of money for our taxpayers.”

“Emil graduated from Harvard University. and holds a law degree from Stanford,” Trump wrote. “He is one of the most respected leaders in tech. and will be a champion of our military and our great country.”
For the next Defense related option Trump has announced Keith Bass as his nominee to be assistant secretary of defense for public health affairs and Joe Kasper to serve as chief of staff for the Pentagon. Casper worked in the first Trump administration in a support position. Beyond Capitol Hill
Bass, a retired Navy commander, will “lead to ensure the health of our force. and receive the best medical care possible,” Trump said.
Next, Trump announced Scott. Cooper is the director of the Office of Personnel Management. Trump noted that Cooper was the first employee of Andreessen Horowitz, a venture capital firm where he is now managing partner.
“Scott will bring much-needed reform to our federal workforce. Scott is a graduate of Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University. with a BA in Public Policy,” Trump wrote. “He also holds a LL.B. from Stanford University. Congratulations Scott!”
In the final nomination The Republican president-elect has announced his choices for technology-related roles. Trump began by naming Michael JK Kratsios as the new director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.
Kratsios, who will also serve as assistant to the president for science and technology. Graduated from Princeton University. Trump noted that he previously served as undersecretary of defense for research and engineering at the Pentagon. In addition to other roles
Lawmakers respond to funding freeze and avoid government shutdown
Trump added that Dr. Lynne Parker will serve as executive director of the President’s Advisory Council on Science and Technology. and Advisor to the Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.
“Dr. Parker previously served as deputy CTO of the United States and was the founding director of the National Artificial Intelligence Initiative,” Trump said. “She holds a doctorate in computer science from MIT.”
The final two Trump picks are Bo Hines and Sriram Krishnan. Hines will be executive director of the Presidential Council of Advisers for Digital Assets, which Trump has described as “New Advisory Group Consisting of Experts from the Crypto Industry”
“In his new role, Bo will work with David to promote innovation and growth in the digital asset space. while providing industry leaders with the resources they need to succeed,” Trump wrote, adding that Krishnan will serve as senior policy advisor on artificial intelligence at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.

“Working closely with David Sacks, Sriram will focus on ensuring America’s continued leadership in AI. and help set and coordinate AI policy across government. including working with the President’s Advisory Council on Science and Technology,” Trump wrote. “Sriram began his career at Microsoft as a founding member of Windows Azure.”
