Kai Trump, President Trump’s niece, has a little fun on the golf course. when she interviewed two-time Masters winner Scottie Scheffler during the LIV-PGA event on Tuesday.
In a chat with Scheffler before his and Rory’s exhibition match. McIlroy with LIV Golf stars Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka Kai asked Scheffler about his May 2024 arrest when he was charged with multiple offenses. Including unintentional assault on a police officer in the second degree.

The incident occurred when Scheffler attempted to enter Valhalla Golf Course. It’s home to the PGA Championship before the second round on May 17.

Kai started the interview by asking, “Scotty, you’re too nice, but what’s it like being in jail?”
“You know, it’s actually kind of boring,” he said with a laugh. “There isn’t much to do in there. I was in a cell alone and I was in there staring at the wall. So it was a little boring.”
Kai, who wowed golf fans with her vlogs on YouTube after Trump’s successful bid for the White House, Then there’s the light-hearted joke that Tiger Woods, who ran into trouble with the law in 2017, is the victim.

“I mean, orange isn’t a bad color. You actually pull it off like Tiger Woods,” she joked.
Scheffler quipped back. “I like burnt oranges a little better than jail oranges.”
Charges stemming from Scheffler’s arrest were later dismissed. From the internal investigation, it was found that there were 3 items. Louisville Metro Police Officers violated police policy when their body cameras were not activated.
