“Obviously. If the murderer received any assistance before, during or after the murder. Law enforcement agencies would like to take strong action against such accomplices,” the former police officer explained. “If they look at someone like that. They don’t want to remind them of that fact.

“The bigger question is, how does someone know what time he or she will walk out the door at 6:45 a.m.”

Holloway, who is a frequent guest on Fox News Channel, also addressed speculation about whether police have the suspect’s name. During a press conference on Saturday, New York City Mayor Eric Adams appeared to hint that officials may know the identity of the gunman.

“We don’t want to publicize that right now,” Adams said. Essentially, we are giving a tip to the person we are searching for. And we don’t want to give him any advantage.

“Let him continue to believe that he can hide behind a mask,” the mayor added. “We revealed his face. We will reveal who they are. And we will bring him to justice.”

Holloway told Fox News Digital that the intent was to protect the investigation.

“The only reason is to withhold the suspect’s name. Assuming that name is known, and actually I doubt that name is. is to protect certain aspects of the ongoing investigation,” Holloway said. “And to that point The most reasonable thing is that officials are considering whether other people may have been involved.”

Although Holloway is not involved in the investigation, he told Fox News Digital that he is “about 90% sure” that one or two more suspects are involved in the murder.

But he also stressed that anything is possible in the early stages of the investigation.
