“First of all, I don’t believe the stated reasons. I don’t believe they suddenly decided that they suddenly decided that we should endorse everyone but the presidential candidate. And for all elections this is the starting point. This new policy,” Rubin said on her podcast. “We endorse the 2020 presidential candidate without question. And I understand this. “What are they thinking? Who do they think their audience is?” Rubin asks. “Maybe this has nothing to do with the audience. Perhaps this is them trying to protect themselves or avoid the revenge they think is coming, but in reality, these people are rich and famous. What else do they have to worry about? It’s just a startling example of how many elites are eager to line up, fawn over, distract. and deflect any criticism. Anything that might get in the way of the White House.”
