Where to find magma? Vale tales
You can find Magma by mining in any area within the Mythopia biome.– Unfortunately, the nodes here also spawn together with Ruby, so finding magma consistently is difficult. Ruby is already available in the base game. So it’s especially frustrating when one pops out instead of the lava-encrusted gem you were looking for.
Make sure you bring along a mining buddy. So you can be sure to always get a second magma when you find it.
Where can I find pure ice? Vale tales
You can find pure ice by mining in any area within the Everafter biome.– Like Magma, nodes here also spawn. But at least this time there’s another new gem. That’s Star Sapphire. This means you won’t be so disappointed when attacking Star Sapphire nodes instead of Pure Ice, as you’ll be using them for both crafting and searching.
Again, bringing along a mining buddy can speed all of this up significantly. It earns you additional Pure Ice (or Star Sapphire!) every time you find it.
Keep grinding to build up your stock of Magma and Pure Ice, and don’t forget to leave some in your inventory when you come across one of the cute baby dragons scattered throughout Everafter. Leaving them hungry will Turns you into a monster You’re not a monster, are you?
