America’s Favorite and Least Favorite Thanksgiving Foods: Report

According to an online survey of more than 2,000 Americans conducted by The Harris Poll on behalf of Instacart in September 2024, turkey, mashed potatoes and stuffing are Americans’ favorite Thanksgiving foods.

Thanksgiving Dish Challenge

The survey was conducted online within the United States by The Harris Poll on behalf of Instacart from September 1, 19 to 23, 2024 among 2,077 adults ages 18 and older. The sampling accuracy of The Harris Online Survey was measured by Bayesian plausible moments are used. (Instagram)

As for what Americans loaded into their carts in preparation for Turkey Day, Instacart compared the share of merchandise purchased for each category over a seven-day period from Nov. 1, Nov. 17, 2023, to Nov.
