College football fans who tune into ESPN game broadcasts are quite upset that the spotlight is so heavily on Colorado. And they are making their voices heard on social media.

BYU offensive lineman Connor Pay also told broadcasters to talk more about the team. According to news anchor Dave Pasch

“He walked up there yesterday. (production meeting) and asked us, ‘Talk about BYU a little bit?’ We were talking about Connor Pay and we are talking about BYU right now,” Pasch said in the fourth quarter with the Cougars up 33-7 through. Terrible announcement “I’m sure the fans in Provo wanted us to talk about BYU all night.”

Dusty Dvoracek, Pasch’s broadcast partner, added that BYU “gave us a lot to talk about.”

For what it’s worth Sanders and Hunter from Colorado are set to be first-round picks in the upcoming draft. Not to mention, Deion Sanders is Colorado’s head coach and has rebuilt the program into one of the most attractive programs in the country.

Sanders said it was “difficult” to learn that some of the players he had coached over the past two or three years were leaving the team to embark on the next part of their journey.

BYU finished the season 11-2, producing its third 10-win season in the last five years. They haven’t had a run like that since the mid-2000s, when they won at least 10 games from 2006 to 2009 and again in 2011.

Kalani Sitake took the team from just five wins in its first season in the Big 12 Conference last year to 11 wins and a bowl appearance.
