Kate Middleton ends a “cruel” year by spreading holiday cheer.
The Princess of Wales smiled on Wednesday. While traveling with her father-in-law, Charles III, she followed Christmas tradition to St. Petersburg. Mary Magdalene Church.

For the outing, Kate wore a festive green Alexander McQueen coat. The princess completed the look with matching accessories and gloves. Complete with black gloves and boots. The princess beamed as she shook hands with members of the public lining up to see the royal family. She also receives flowers and chats with the children.
This year has been a turbulent one for Kate. in january Kensington Palace has announced that she plans to undergo abdominal surgery. She was out of sight for months. and gave rise to conspiracy theories about her health.

in march Kate ends speculation after announcing she has been diagnosed with an undisclosed cancer. Her announcement comes six weeks after Buckingham Palace announced that the 76-year-old king was also receiving treatment for cancer. At the beginning of last year The King received treatment for an enlarged prostate.
For a while, she stepped away from most public duties during her treatment. Kate made two appearances earlier this year, firstly during the King’s Birthday Parade in June. This is known as Trooping the Colour, and during the men’s finals at Wimbledon in July. for which she received a standing ovation

On Dec. 1, 6, the princess appeared emotional as she held the annual “Together at Christmas” concert at Westminster Abbey.
At this event, Kate said that she “I didn’t know that this year would be the year I just encountered… Things that weren’t planned,” as People magazine claimed.
“But I think a lot of people this year have had such a challenging time. And many others are here today,” she said.

The 42-year-old opened up candidly about his “brutal” year during an interview with reporters in Cape Town. South Africa at the time, where he was visiting the fourth annual Earthshot Prize Awards.

“But I am very proud of my wife. I am proud of my father for managing what they did,” William said. “But from a personal family perspective… It is very cruel.”
During the interview William shared an update on Kate’s health. telling reporters she was “fine.”

When told he looked “relaxed”, William responded: “I couldn’t be any less relaxed this year. So it will be really interesting for you all to see that.”
“But it’s more about trying to fix it. And you have to move on,” he added. “I enjoy my work. And I enjoy going at my own pace and making sure I have time for my family.”
