Should you side with The Ninth? – Stalker 2

There are many options to choose from in Stalker 2, and some of them can even give you sweet rewards.

During the Lost Boys mission, you’ll try to discover the fate of the unfortunate Stalkers, while also tracking down the survivor Mastiff in hopes of rescuing him. All signs point to a mysterious figure attacking and murdering them. But don’t jump to conclusions just yet.

You can pick up the quest The Lost Boys in Zalissya by talking to Lens, the technician. He sends you to find his lost friends. After searching for a long time You will face a man named The Ninth. The Ninth is a Monolithian and is not welcomed by most people in the zone.

Although it is assumed that he attacked and killed the missing person. But he tried to protect them from the mutants and managed to get Mastiff to safety and save his life. While talking to him, other Stalkers appear. So tell them you want to help and go outside to talk to them.

When you talk to a newcomer They will be very irrational and attack you quickly. Go back into the house and take them out, being careful not to accidentally kill The Ninth. Because he can run past you and eat projectiles.

The reason you should side with Ninth is that helping him will reward you with a Rubber Layer blueprint, a useful upgrade that you can use on your technician later in the game. If you take out the ninth coupon You’ll only get 1000 coupons, which is a very low payout and not worth it compared to upgrades. The Lens will think it’s weird that you’re siding with the Monolithian, but it won’t affect the story any further.
