Opposing head coaches had to be separated after taunts after players were injured during Tuesday’s Citrus Bowl game.
Illinois defensive back Jaheim Clarke was injured on the play and taken care of by his trainer and head coach Bret Bielema.
Bielema was clearly not happy and taunted South Carolina with the substitution signal.

The two shook hands and shared a quick hug after Illinois’ 21-17 win.
The incident appeared to inflame the Gamecocks a bit as they scored just five touchdowns after Beamer was separated from Bielema for a 17-14 lead early in the fourth.
However, the Illini responded with a 12-play drive of their own, going 75 yards down the field and crushing the end zone to take a 21-17 lead midway through the quarter.
The Gamecocks entered the 10-yard line on the ensuing drive. But they couldn’t score and the Fighting Illini knelt down the clock.
