The famous Missouri basketball player stretches himself off the court during a scary time.

A frightening moment occurred during the Missouri-Lindenwood Men’s College basketball game on Wednesday night as a Tigers player had to be stretchered off the court.

Tigers star guard Caleb Grill suffered a head and neck injury after struggling for a rebound during the team’s 81-61 win over Lindenwood.

Grill was awkwardly hit on the head as he bounced back. which snapped his neck back while he was in the air. He landed hard on the field and clutched the back of his head.

Grill was taken to a local hospital after being stretchered off the field. He gave a thumbs up to the crowd. which cheered him on as he was led off the field.

Columbia’s daily tribune A team spokesperson told them that Grill had responded. But he was taken to hospital out of an abundance of caution. Specific information about his injuries was not released.

After the game, Mizzou head coach Dennis Gates gave an update on Grill.

“We are waiting for the results of the CT scan,” Gates said, according to the Daily Tribune. “Whenever you have a head or neck injury, you have to be vigilant and careful about it. Grill was the Tigers’ leading scorer heading into this game, averaging 15.5 points while shooting over 55% from three-point territory.
