President-elect Trump Supported NHL legend Wayne Gretzky as a candidate for Prime Minister of Canada in a social media post on Wednesday.

“I just left the great Wayne Gretzky as he is known in ice hockey circles. I said, ‘Wayne, why don’t you run for Prime Minister of Canada? Soon to be known as Governor of Canada – you can win easily, you don’t even need to campaign,” Trump wrote.
“He has no interest. But I think Canadians should start a DRAFT WAYNE GRETZKY movement. It would be so much fun to watch!”
Trump’s post comes as Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau faces pressure to resign. at the beginning of last month Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland resigns from Trudeau’s cabinet. at the same time Opposition Leader Jagmeet Singh calls for Trudeau to resign

Trump also weighs in after Freeland resigns
“The great state of Canada is shocked when Minister of Finance resigns or is fired by Governor Justin Trudeau,” Trump posted on his Truth Social, mocking Trudeau after previously suggesting that Canada should become the 51st state in the United States.
“Her behavior was extremely toxic. Nor is it conducive to making deals that benefit unhappy Canadian citizens. You won’t miss it!!!”
