US Army soldier Charged with selling secret phone records
Cameron John Wagenius, 20, has been charged by federal authorities in Texas. charged with two counts of illegally transferring confidential telephone records on Dec. 1, 20, and the indictment was unsealed this week.
Wagenius was a soldier at Fort Cavazos in Texas. Court records do not indicate his rank.

He is accused of being linked to the online deal Kiberphant0m, which has been part of several high-profile data breaches. This included hacking Snowflake and claiming to have hacked the phone records of President Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, Reuters reported, citing cybersecurity reporter Brian Krebs.
An alleged AT&T call recording for a 2024 presidential candidate was posted online in November, according to The Verge, which noted that the call recording has not yet been verified as authentic.
The indictment does not provide details about the hack.

The indictment accuses Wagenius of selling “confidential telephone records” online.
“We are aware of the arrest of a Fort Cavazos soldier,” Fort Cavazos told Fox News Digital. “III Armored Corps will continue to cooperate with all law enforcement agencies as appropriate.”
