Carney added: “There may be others who challenge him (Vance) … There are a lot of people who want to be president. But it will be a very difficult channel apart from the Trump channel.”
He added that four potentially difficult years for the Trump/Vance administration would provide “an opportunity” for potential Vance challengers.
