New maps mean new character missions if you know where to find them.
One of the missions in Fortnite is to find Hope, Ryuji or Agent Jones and talk to them about their expertise and selling exclusive legendary weapons. This is a system that allows you to unlock the option to purchase legendary weapons by completing specialization tasks, such as dealing damage to players. or eliminated

You can find Ryuji northwest of Lost Lake, about a third of the way to Whiffy Wharf if you draw a line between the two. It’s near the aforementioned big turtle chilling on the map.
Make sure you talk to him about his expertise. It was one of his conversation options. And you can also buy weapons from him for gold if you want. Make sure you use up all his dialogue to move the mission forward. You can then start gaining weapon proficiency by using them. Return to your Missions tab to view all available missions.
