Where to find the Liquid Rock artifact – Stalker 2
Liquid Rock can be found near chemical tanks in chemical factories in the Exclusion Zone. This is the second area you’ll be able to enter after you give the Ward Sensors to Captain Zotov. He’ll send you to a chemical plant where you’ll talk with Lieutenant Mateus.
The chemical tank is located south of the factory, in an area that Mateus asks you to explore for the All That Is Left mission. There will be a small red brick building. which you can use to enter the tank area But there will be some harness dogs to protect you. These are terrifying clones that disappear when you shoot them. So you have to find the main dog and deal with it.
From there, look to your left and you’ll see a series of walkways. Surrounded by a poisonous yellow mist Fortunately, this mist was just for show. But the green sticky substance on the floor is definitely acidic and will burn you. So be careful. Head into the walkway and go to the right and about halfway down you’ll have to jump into the middle area where there’s a pool of acid.
In these pools of acid You can find Liquid Rock using the Echo Scanner. This artifact jumps from one puddle to another. So keep scanning until you find it and grab it when you’re close enough. Provides maximum protection against radio and chemical damage. This is a great combo at almost every point in the game.
