Going into Saturday night, all No. 7 Alabama needed was a win against unranked Oklahoma to be very safe in the College Football Playoff.
Earlier this morning, No. 5 Indiana was blown out, No. 5 4 Penn State was barely squeaked by Minnesota, and No. 4 9 Ole Miss and No. 9 14 BYU both lost.
But the Crimson Tide couldn’t get the job done as Oklahoma dominated 24-3.

Alabama’s Jalen Milroe, once one of the country’s best players; Had the worst game of the season. He completed 11 of 26 passes for 164 yards with three interceptions and completed just seven of 15 yards for Alabama (8-3, 4-3). The Sooners held Alabama to 234 yards. He Went just 2-for-7 for 62 yards before the first half.
True freshman Xavier Robinson rushed for a career-high 107 yards and two touchdowns as Oklahoma qualified for a bowl game. and brought Coach Brent Venables gets off the hot seat.
The Sooners’ victory resulted in another generation of fans storming the field too soon. But at least this one is almost over, unlike the BYU-Arizona State game.

Ole Miss and Alabama, who were both in last week’s bracket predictions, have now lost three times this season. This leaves the door wide open for 9-2 teams like Clemson and Iowa State, who are ranked 17th and 22nd in the country, respectively.
And now, Indiana’s college football playoff hopes. After the undefeated season ended It may not look like it’s over. No. 10 Georgia and No. 10 11 Tennessee moved up a few spots with three teams ahead of them in the rankings, all losers.
