A wicked lesson in movie etiquette.

If you go see a Wicked show and start singing They should beat you with a bag of popcorn. Their babies came to hear Ariana Grande and Cynthia Eviro, not Pam from the community theater group, grow up.

As for the conversation about singing in Wicked, I feel that since the outbreak, People have forgotten how to go to the movies. The number of people using their phones, talking, and singing is astonishing. When I see matter, someone answers the phone? On the speaker? Between movies?

There’s a reason they do it. It’s specifically called “sing-along movie screenings,” and it’s because no one wants to hear the most annoying high school girl who wants to tell everyone in the theater that she’s a soprano who knows every word.

Having seen Wicked this week, we were lucky enough not to have to endure this spectacle. I endorse all these feelings. I must emphasize how important it is that you are not That Guy™. Don’t be that person™! You know who I’m talking about!

Senior editor

Ozzie has been playing video games since he picked up his first NES controller at age 5. He’s been into games ever since. Having only briefly stepped away from university, he was brought back in after spending several years in QA for both THQ and Activision, with much of that time spent helping push the Guitar Hero series to new heights. Ozzie has become Big fan of platform games, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few. But he’s also a total sucker for anything that has a good, compelling narrative behind it. After all, what’s a video game if you can’t enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
