Israel moves towards ceasefire deal with Hezbollah: report


Israel is reportedly working towards a ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah in Lebanon. After nearly a year of fighting that escalated into full-scale war in September.

Israeli media including YNET as well And Haaretz reports that Israel has tentatively agreed to a US-backed ceasefire proposal. According to reports, no final agreement has been reached.

Lebanon and the Hezbollah militant group reportedly agreed to the deal last week. But both sides need to provide a final agreement before it can be reached.

The reported ceasefire agreement came after Hezbollah launched one of the largest ever rocket attacks against Israel. in exchange for Israeli forces attacking Hezbollah’s headquarters in Beirut.
