The New York Giants were embarrassed at home on Sunday with a 30-7 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which left Tommy. DeVito was sacked 4 times and the offense only made 17 first downs.
The lack of offensive production appears to be stuck among rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers. And he didn’t mince words when he spoke about the team after the game. He was targeted nine times and caught six times for 64 yards. All of his goals came in the second half.

He called the Giants. “Soft as f—” and complained about the play.
“First of all, the second quarter. I didn’t get the ball,” Nabers said. new york post– “Starting to get the target at the end. That is, I can’t do anything. Starting to get the ball at 30-0, what do you want me to do?”
Nabers told reporters to talk to head coach Brian Daboll when asked why he wasn’t getting looks early in games.
“They came to me and asked me what role I wanted to play. That’s it. I didn’t know.”
Even though the first half was goalless, Nabers’ numbers were still good enough to lead the defense in this game.

Daboll addressed Nabers’ lack of goals in his media availability after the game.
“We didn’t have a lot of drama,” he said. “Obviously some people called. and whether the protection is designed I’m not saying it’s doubled or anything like that. It just has better coverage of the play itself. But there aren’t many. Many dramas
“We try to mix it up in the running. Start the game with a good run and not much after that. The game got away from us and turned into passing, which is not what we wanted to do.”
DeVito was asked if anything specific happened to Nabers.
“No, that’s not necessary, just read my book. what it is like,” he said.
