Randi Weingarten, president of the American Federation of Teachers, said her members are indifferent to the prospect of the Department of Education being abolished.

“My members really don’t care. whether they would have a bureaucracy at the Ministry of Education,” Weingarten said. “In fact, Al Shanker and the AFT in the 1970s were opposed to its creation. Corey DeAngelis, senior fellow at the American Culture Project, told Fox News Digital that Weingarten may have “misread the bill.”

I’m glad Randi Weingarten and I agree. In one matter That is, it is time to clean up the bureaucratic mess that is the Ministry of Education.”
He continued, “If even Randi Weingarten were open to this idea. Hopefully some Democrats in Congress will join the majority party. The Ministry of Education is an unconstitutional waste of time and money. Let’s get rid of bureaucracy and deliver education. Return to the states That will eliminate waste and allow for more local control.”
