A father of three was shot and killed while driving home from work installing Christmas lights at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.

According to the Houston Police Department, investigators responded to a single vehicle crash on a busy interstate. At approximately 10:30 p.m. on December 1, 2.

Officers found the driver, identified as 37-year-old Robert Chorovsky, in critical condition at the scene. Police say he was shot. “At least once”

“We were all shocked, it was so violent, just one gunshot. There are no holes in the truck. No windows were shot. There was only one shot,” said his wife, Brittany Ray. KHOU11

Schorovsky was transported by the Houston Fire Department to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on Nov. 1, 4.

The 37-year-old is the father of three children, ages 9, 11 and 14.

His obituary describes him as a family-oriented and hard-working man.

“Robbie loves spending time with his family and creating lasting memories. If he doesn’t work You might find him fishing at the local pond to clear his mind,” the obituary said. “There are so many memories of the kids hiking, biking and traveling. They will carry it in their hearts forever. He was a hard worker and proud that he could fix almost anything. Including his white Chevy truck.”

“He was focused on making his Brittany happy. And will ride the roller coaster with you Even though he hated them,” the statement said, “Robbie loved with all his heart and enjoyed helping those around him when he could.”

Police said there were no known witnesses or suspects.
