Sidney Thomas may have been the biggest winner from last month’s fight against Jake Paul and Mike Tyson.

Thomas’ social media following has grown rapidly. While she also received her own trading cards from her collaboration with Leaf as her popularity grew. Thomas revealed in a recent interview the text messages she received from Paul before she went viral.

“I talked to him during the fight. And he was like ‘Keep doing what you’re doing,’” Thomas said. People MagazineAdding that the boxer said she was “doing great”.

Thomas, who is also a model, said she receives all kinds of direct messages. Especially from people who want to take her out on dates. She made it clear that this was not what she was looking for right now. Even though she broke up with her boyfriend over the summer.

“I wasn’t even interested in reading that,” she told People. “I was so happy with myself and that’s where all my time was. So whoever contacts who wants to be with me. It passed quickly because I had no intention of being involved in that.”

Thomas spoke with Fox News Digital late last month about her newfound fame.

She said she makes sure she maintains a good “circle” around herself as she navigates the murky waters that come with status and popularity.

“I have a lot of people in my circle that are very reliable in that I can rely on these things,” Thomas said. “It’s been a lot. A lot of people have come up to me, talked a lot, given their two cents. But I was fortunate to fall in love with the right people to be able to trust them and the advice they gave me. Point me in the right direction. Take it easy and know that I am on the right path.”
